Intermediate Loom Weaving Workshop

June 21, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Hello fellow weavers! If you’ve already taken an introduction or basic class in weaving and are looking for the next steps to create beautiful, professional looking weavings, to incorporate different materials into your weavings – and to learn a little about the design process – this class is for you!

In this class you will learn how to incorporate beautiful, thick roving fibers into your piece; to fine-tune your shape making skills, how to add pom poms and tassels to your work, incorporate fabrics and natural materials and create a more professional finish for your pieces so they are ready to hang (and even sell!)

You can easily translate these skills into making woven garments, pillow covers and more. The possibilities with this art form are endless :). My love for weaving is a little infectious – and this class will be a 3 hour weaving love-fest with other makers who are looking to share their love for the craft too.

Registration cost includes a “Loome” tool so you can make tassels and pom-poms, beautiful lush wool roving fibers, fabric fibers, a yarn pack, a copper dowel rod and a glass of wine. (Value $75)

Bring a friend to class with you and get 10% off registration for both of you! Use the code “FriendsWhoWeave” at checkout for the discount. Click here to book your spot!

Sorry, there are no refunds for class cancellations. Feel free to write with any questions to jennedbalskyneal at gmail dot com
